You’ll need Happy Cotton Yarn, a 3-4mm crochet hook, and a basic hair elastic.

Note:
Happy Cotton yarn usually calls for a 2.5–3mm crochet hook. However, for these hair ties, I used a 4mm hook in the sample to make them softer and stretchier. If you crochet tightly with a smaller hook, the hair ties will be thicker and less flexible.
